Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps help youth from underserved communities reach their potential through a multi-year camp stay program. Whether at camp or at home between visits, our campers work to develop social, emotional, leadership and innovation skills, as well as behaviours such as volunteering and motivation to learn, which helps them become involved in the community and academically and make a successful transition to adulthood.

Program Officer JOB
DESCRIPTION Program Officers are expected to create an inclusive and supportive environment where campers are able to develop concrete skills outlined in the Tim Camps program. This is done through preparation, facilitation, and debriefing activities to bring out understanding and self-awareness. Program managers analyze the capacities of their group and adapt activities according to the group's state of readiness. They are responsible for assessing and managing risks and ensuring that the CFHT program and wellness standards are met.

Description of Duties
- Provide high-quality, intentional programming designed to achieve specific outcomes and build positive skills
- Inspire youth to discover their strengths, overcome their limitations, become more resilient, and build leadership in a safe and caring environment
- Provide leadership and leadership to other staff, using inclusivity and mentorship
- Ensure the safety of our participants, guests and staff at all times
- Ensure that programming areas are well organized, well-stocked and in good condition
- Ensure participants are adequately trained in activities and follow safety protocols
- Report incidents and complete required documentation

Vérification acceptable des antécédents criminels
Capacité à habiter sur les lieux pendant de longues périodes de temps et de travailler en fonction d’un horaire flexible
Es francophone
